LeClaire Group
Meets FRIDAYS at 4 PM
Prairie Oaks is meditation and retreat center on a 20 acre tree farm. This is out in the country behind LeClaire, west of Territorial Road. You will need directions. Call Joyce at 289-3292.

Description:
Our format for the Thursday and Friday group meditations is to focus our meditation and reflection on a theme for the evening. After the second silent meditation, the evening’s discussion leader will share how the topic infuences her or his practice. Then the other members of the group will be invited to share.
We form a sharing the merit circle at the end of our time together. It is a time to recognize our compassionate presence to each other, our family and friends, especially those in need, and the earth.
During walking meditation, the group walks slowly while focusing on the movement of the feet and legs.
During discussion time, the group may talk about their experience during the meditations and/or share their experiences with mindfulness in daily life.
